Trouble with Swoop races

Post by nickdrj »

Ok, I can't seem to win a swoop race no matter how well I do. I actually passed the one on telos but the other two I cant win. I have the PC version and I hear it may be a bug, what can I do?

The bug comes in when you forfeit a race. The organiser guy will say that you had a real bad spill out there, and will repeat this whenever you race, regardless of whether you finish or not.

Time issues..... not a bug as such, just a testing over-sight really. I'm sure it can be done, you just have to be absolutely perfect.

Don't bother. Real waste of time.

First game you could get 1st place if you tried a few times, now you have to do a perfect run (not only perfect in terms of not hitting obstacles, but perfect in getting the speed bumps) to get close to 1st place.

If you need credits or anything, go play pazaak. At least there's the chance you will win there, so you can save/load your way to getting more credits.
Walk among them... these beasts that are less than you are. See their strength, see how easily you fall to their muscle and skill. Why do you stand for this, why do you submit to the flesh when death is bred in your bones?

Well, I found the swoop races to be a little out of balance. The one on Telos was sickly hard, I made a near-perfect run and got around 43 seconds or so (3 secs short) but on Nar Shaddaa I hit 2 mines, 3 obstacles and a false start and still beat the best time with 20 seconds.
