It's only one compartment really in the starboard room, and it's really only a chest with some items in it, not a room

Perhaps you have to talk to the guy first (on Nar Shaddaa I believe). Like on Peragus where you can find the secret compartment if you picked the data-pad on one of the bodies.

You may have to do it the LS way. I did it the neutral way of giving back the ship but telling him that the PC was not doing him any favors since the Ebon Hawk is a marked ship

I have talked to the guy, and 'gave' the ship back... later I found him dead during the Red Eclipse invasion. Maybe that's the problem, you shouldn't give him the ship back maybe.

This is odd. I've been all over the Ebon Hawk and I can't find that hidden cache anywhere.

I talked to the owner of the Ebon Hawk on Nar S. and gave him back the ship. He did speak about a hidden compartment but that one seemed to have been removed (used to be in the room where the Handmaiden is).

Anyone could give a more specific clue where to look for it? Is it highlighted when you move the mouse curser over it, or do I have to click like mad on the wall panels or what? :)

When you talk to him, you must ask for "proof" he will tell you of where the actual locations are, and then you can either give him back the ship, or tell him to bugger off, only then can you find these secret compartments.

the guy goes into your ship and gets killed by the slavers whatever happens in my experience, and I was unable to find them even after he told me...

Perhaps you can only find them between where you meet the guy and the Red Eclipse... I dunno, just a shot in the dark.

No matter what you say to him, he will leave and only come back when Red Eclipse attack, but you ahve to ask for "Proof" in order to find the compartment. Just a summary of what everyone else said.

OK...this is my 3rd. time through the game, (PC vs), and I STILL cannot find this hidden cache on the EH in Visas room. Yes, I talked to the previous owner in Nar Shaddaa and yes I asked for proof and was nice to him and said I would return the EH. After which I got a cutscene of Atton practicly begging to shoot the guy in the back and handmaiden saying that was too crude when a simple chop to the back of the neck would eliminate the problem. Woman are deadly I tell ya lol.

So...what EXACTLY do I say to this guy, or do I have to do, to get this danged cache to spawn?!?!?!?! Note the EXACTLY, what do you say to the previous owner?

Not that I think there is anything uber in the cache, I just want to find it. LOL

Any help appreciated.

I'm not entirely certain either. I've never found the compartment in Visas room(though I've never really looked either). The cargo hold compartment made an appearance in KotOR 1. But if you go into the cargo hold in this game you see it's been ripped out, along with a bunch of other things in the hold (cargo containers, for example). Revan apparently removed it for reasons unknown or it was destroyed when the Ebon Hawk suffered damage. That area of the ship is pretty beat up (you'll notice the reinforcing bars on the wall).

Here's how I found it; I went to Nar Shadaa as my first planet, walked out far enough on Nar Shadaa to get Visas to come after me, then walked back to the Ebon Hawk and defeated her. Then, I walked out, had Veck describe the ship, and immediately went back in to find it, all of this worked.

Yes, you have to talk to the previous owner and ask for proof, but it's not enough to find the compartment. IIRC, that is a requirement, but for some reason the compartment is not triggered until much later in the game, and I have no idea what triggers it. I was lucky it did in my last playthrough.

Basically, just ask for proof, then let the guy have his ship back. After all, it won't matter, since he'll be killed anyway. Then just forget about the compartment and only check in every ten hours or so. Maybe it'll trigger, and maybe it won't. It's an investment, and it doesn't always pay off.

It's one of those really annoying things in K2, and this isn't even the worst example. The one I really hate is how you cannot enter Mandalorian cache on Dxun unless you get the explosives in a totally unrelated incident from a totally different NPC on another planet. Oh, and you get only one change to get them during a specific situation that only occurs once... It's a great game, but stuff like that is really frustrating.
