Jedi With Blasters (Spoilers)

Post by veritech »

Just thought i'd drop a post telling everyone that i finished the game darkside using blaster and never using a lightsaber. Believe it or not it was a whole lot easier that using a lightsaber. i went into the final battle with 48 life supports and some how or another Kreia got stuck in a wall and i just stood their and threw grenades at her til she died. As for the 3 lightsabers, i took them on one at a time. What bothered me is what everyone had been saying about the ending. Kreia is thrown into the core, the camera zooms out to the planet, and the end? After beating this game light and dark i am rather disappointed in it.
1. What was up with gori or what ever his name is assaulting Bao dur's probe thingy. Game never explained that.
2. Light side where Mira is attacked by Hanrarr on Manticore. Game never explained the point of that.
3. Mission bugs. a.) On nar shadaa when you meat that guy looking for his wife. You kill him. Tell his wife he is there and you go back she says thank you. Thank you? for killing her husband? Mission never disappears from the quest list. b.) Building the airspeeder. If you kill that hammerhead guy in the apartments you are supposed to get an item for the airspeeder. I didn't. Following the walkthrough i searched for the items. I ended up with 1 piece and then 2 of the same pieces, so i couldn't rebuild the speeder. c.) on Dxun, blowing up that tomb thingy and the animals geting upset. Mission was never resolved and stayed in the quest list.
4. Questions: Where in the game do you find the answers to the machines in freedon nads tomb? Just curious.

Ok i'm done.

You might indicate "Spoiler" in your post. You've got a lot of them in there.

SPOILERS

I felt similar to you, as many of us have indicated in other threads, many things were not fully actualized or dealt with in a satisfactory problem. The ending was a bit of a cliff hanger and certainly not all I had hoped it would be either. There were several issues that were never explained fully about the final encounters.

The issues with Hanharr and Mira were never adequately explained (the final attack, that is. I assume its simply that Kreia didn't want the friends coming to the aid of the exile, and Mira is good at finding things.). That and the remote vs. GO-TO were intolerable loose ends I wanted to see resolved my satisfactorily. Perhaps others figured that out more, or perhaps the darkside way of doings things, reveals more about those plot aspects. These things left me baffled as well.

A couple things I can take a shot at addressing, the machines (I'm assuming you mean treasure chests) in Freedom Nadd's tomb have problems (mathmatical) that you're suppose to figure out yourself. You're not suppose to find the answers anywhere. They aren't terribly difficult math programs, and you can always do them by trial and error if all else fails.

Likewise, the cache you blow up on Dxun may not show as a completed quest until you get confirmation from Mandalore about it. If you waited until after you recruited him to do it, I'm not sure if it shows up as not. That's just a thought, anyway. I had no trouble getting it to show as completed.

I've added the Spoiler tag for you this time, but please remember it in the future.
