Talking to the Ithorian Droid - help! (Spoiler?)

So, I'm stuck at Telos! Apparentaly I need to talk to the Ithorian droid at the docks in order to "choose my path", but when I talk to him, I don't get him to come with me. All that happens is he and the little fella with him start arguing, and I'm forced to leave them again. From what I understand from the walkthrough - I HAVE to get the droids to come with me if I want to move on in the game... Pls help!

IS there some side objective I have missed? I've tried going back to older saved games and talking to them there, but with the same results.

OK, this is what should (normally) happen:

You either talk to Czerka or the Ithorians about the droid. If you talked to Czerka, you need to go to the Ithorians to get the dock pass (if you talked to the Ithorians, you'll get this automatically).

Then you go to the dock module and get to the Ithorian docks (number 2). Talk to the Ithorian near the door, have him open it and get inside to see one guy, an Ithorian and a protocol droid. When you get close to them, cutscene appears, you get to fight a group of mercs, then cutscene enters where droid mentions a modified blaster being found on one of the guys (trigger for another quest). After this, you can click on the droid and pick wherever you want to take him.

If events do not happen in that order for you... I dunno... Can you be more specific and say what you've done up to this point?

3 ithorian quests:
1. escort the droid intelligence from hangar bay 2
2. kill the squid head in the exchange
3. grab the droid from the czerka headquarters

once u do that, just head to hangar #2 for the ride to telos

u may be talking to the czerka droid in the hangar lobby after #3, if so i think they just stand there and dont do anything

Ehr, but I have killed the squid and have had the droid to betray its master, and now it and it's little counterpart (k1-t1?) are stadning by the docks doing nothing., so what now?! Guess I'll have to try all over again, maybe backtrack and see if there any any quests I've left unsolved. I have the illegal gun too, so... Oh well, I'll look into it, thanks for the much neeeded help. Lemme know if there's anything I can do in return!

You should be able to take the shuttle going to the surface, then... I think.

Yay! Got it. Didn't realize I had to go back and talk to them again!
