Epiloque? (Spoilers)
Epiloque? (Spoilers)
Hi! I've just finished the game - and as much as I was impressed with the story, yhe "ending" seems a little vague.... I've read on this forum that eventually you get to choose whether to kill Kreya or not - But I didnt get to choose, the only thing I could say is ".... its time to rest...", and all ends with the destruction of Malacor V, instead of reviving it. Is there a different ending scenario? If there is, what have I done wrong not to have all the saying options? THANX!
SPOILERS
I don't believe there is a different ending. Even if you initially decline to kill Kreia, she eventually dies moreorless by your hands (meaning, you go another round with her, where she dies). At least, that was all I could figure.
Many of us felt the ending was not conclusive enough and, in fact, there is evidence (look at some of the recent news articles on this site) that the game was never properly finished. You'll notice a lot of loose ends, particularly surrounding the ending. So, you're not the only one that was dissappointed. Anyway, you'll find a lot of threads around here surrounding this issue.

Well I think that the exile dies.(D/S)It has you play the crap with remote to turn in the mass shadow gennorater to destroy MalachorV and all.So yeah I am bored with the end as it was.

I believe the ending is determined by your 'reward' at the final meeting of the Jedi Council (or lack thereof). If you get the force crush ability and are deep in the dark side when facing 'Darth Traya' (Kreia) all your dialogue is nasty, there are no lighter options. At the end of the two battles with her, she either falls or you kick her into the green pit below you and Malachor remains in tact for your use (and the ebon hawk is assumed destroyed). Kreia suggests in prior dialogue that you can use one of the orbiting shuttles to come and go as you please but its assumed you'll eventually go after Revan.
If you met the council, gained the meditation ability and are light aligned when talking to Darth Traya in the final battle, she will still die, but Malachor will be destroyed and the ebon hawk will show up to rescue you as the platform collapses. Its still assumed you'll follow Revan to unknown space.
Both the light and dark path have you doing the doomsday quest with the remote however since most of the droids (GOTO/REMOTE/HK) story line was stripped from the game you miss out on a lot of the motivation and reasoning behind saving or destroying Malachor V.
As a light side character it was impossible for me to get the dark side ending based on dialogue choices with Traya, I tried many times. As a Dark side character the reverse was also true, I couldn't destroy Malachor V (as per GOTOs wishes if you track down some of the missing quests info).
I'm currently trying a strongly light aligned character, who kills the remaining Jedi masters, to see which ending I get. If nothing else it will be interesting to see what he'll look like next to the main menu if I get the sith lord ending, will he strike the light sider hero pose or the dark sider severe pose?

Well I was strongly alinged with the Dark side and my charecter was all light sided with a dark stance where Treya,Sion or Nihilus should be in the main menu.
