My option is not listed... I'm not going to buy it simply cuz I hate computer gaming... I might get a copy to see what's new in it although I'll just probably wait to read the posts users who got it will share up in here.

Well, Fable 2 will probably be developed for X-Box or X-Box 2. However, Fable: The Lost Chapters is actually not a sequal (which is probably what you're thinking of). It's just X-Box Fable + some new content. I think the poster was actually talking about "Fable 2" (as per the stickied thread on the forum, where we've been discussing what we'd like to see in a bonified sequal).

exactly right my friend, i believe that fable: the lost chapters is just a sellout
but hey, if it sells good and LH gets tons of money, it may increase the possiblility of another fable. And yes, i was referring to another fable on Xbox or Xbox2

=) happy posting

I'll do with the second Fable what I did with the first: rent it, play it for a few days, and if I like it then I'll buy it.

def, even if it is only a little bit of extra content, it can only make the game better (hopefully). though i probably would rent it out, just to see if its okay.

Fable 2 is listed as for Xenon but not confirmed. The Lost Chapters is only to patch things up, with Xenon's multiple processing powers, I don't see why they couldn't remake using the Lost Chapter engine.

that would make sense? but possibly they are underfunded or just to lazy to do more work?
think about it, the first fable was delayed for 4 years, the second one could possibly take a while..
i just feel bad for the people who knew about fable since before the 4 year delay.. =P

I don't see what you mean by "sellout". Haven't we all been posting here and on related sites for however long that Fable is missing a lot of the features that we so wanted to see? And now that many of those features are being implemented officially and sold, it is suddenly a sellout?

I think that Fable: The Lost Chapters is a classic and poinient example of a development company honestly reviewing the will of their fan base and responding to their will. And I think that generally, that will is to see an expanded Fable with many of the features that we missed in the XBox release, and have been *****ing about ever since.

well i guess your right..
but it annoys me that its on pc, and not to the faithfull x-box fans
what i meant by sell out is that theyv captured a few x-box'ers
now onto the larger community, the pc gamers, and only because almost everyone has a pc
just bothers me

Release Date!

Fable: The Lost Chapters will be released in fall of this year!

thats funny, how could they realese this less than a year after its predecessor? this makes me think... what if the pc version was the plan all along, and the xbox game was just a sample , a teaser if you will, to the upcoming game

I'm like most of the other people here - I'm going to rent it to test it out. I'll probably beat the game one time through, and if I like it then I'll go out and buy it. However, there's several things I DEMAND Fable 2 has: A gender selection option and shields. Those were the only 2 things that I was pissed TLC didn't have. However, Fable TLC is still the best RPG I've ever played.

I'm really hoping that it'll be like Morrowind to Oblivion. (The map is going to be 10x bigger, and a TON of new stuff)

Also, I'd like to add that I'm VERY excited for Fable 2!!! :D :D :D

TLC? A Sellout?

They made TLC because most of the players were mad because they cut 1/3 of the game out. If fans of my video games were mad about something like that, I'd add stuff and sell it just like they did.
