Stuck On Gotos yacht!!!

Post by RSXTS »

It's been 2 days now and i'm still stuck. I have gone through the entire ship left and right, even have it memorized. I've picked up every little thing you possibly can. Every possible code. Including Overload and Reset. Is there another code i'm missing? I've gotten both codes from both droids in the holding cells. I read somewhere about a shutdown code, is that the overload code?

Or is getting the entire ship to overload a puzzle? Cause I cant get anything to happen and i'm slowly losing interest in the game because of it. I even read through the walkthrough of the level, and did everything it told me to. Still nothing. It just keeps saying failure everytime I try and get something done on the bridge computer.

So if anyone can help, i'd greatly appreciate it.

You need to go to the bridge and move the ship's force shield and invisibility device to the second power supply and then shut that down. It will make Goto's Yacht visible and vulnerable to attacks from bounty hunters and rivals from the Exchange. Use the resulting chaos to escape with the Ebon Hawk. :)

Go back to the very first droid you come across - at the room where the Ebon Hawk is docked. I'm pretty sure its that one that has the "Shutdown" program.

Then go to a control console (there are a couple of types), and press "Unlock restricted area" or something along those lines. If you've thoroughly searched and killed everyone you can unlock all the areas with the access codes you've found. You can then shut these down from the other menu for XP and eventually to escape by making the ship visible, as Coronatus described.

Best to work on the console at the bridge then.

The shutdown program is indeed gotten from the droid standing right at the place where you start.

Thanks for the help guys. I went back to the first droid and he just beeped at me and didn't do anything. Yet I still did not have the shutdown program. So I had to go way way back and start over GOTO's yacht, but it was worth it. I did everything systematically this time. Got the shutdown program instantly from the droid. Then had no problem defeating the level from there on. Now i'm kicking ass again and lovin' it :)
Thanks again.
