I succeeded with some effort, with a fully-upgraded T3 and Kreia with Destroy Droid. Any character with Destroy Droid should be there. Get a few good anti-droid weapons and you should be fine. And be sure to take someone with good Computer Use, someone with good Repair and someone with good Demolitions. (T3 or Bao-Dur would be perfect but not both)

I usually do it with Bao-Dur and Visas. I personally feel you should try to use only jedi as much as possible because it gives you the most versatility in combat.
Without the light there can be no dark. Without the dark there can be no light. Even the most devout Jedi Master needs the dark side. The most evil Sith still needs the light.

okay i just finished this last night with kreia and atton, and yes it was damn hard. i was stuck on this area for like a week, but finished last night.
what i did...
atton has mandalorian battle armor (defense 10)
and kreia just has crap -- maybe a vibrosword.
make sure to use arkanian energy shield, and use a new charge EVERY room.
also i threw like 5 ion grenades at the GOTO starboard commander.
most of the droids after that should be easy. make sure you use the security panel north or south of #10 on the gamebanshee walkthrough to access all the droid features. most of the options in the control panels can be used to shut down turrets or droids.

all u need is to go to husseff and finish the serrocco and exchange bits for him and then do adaana/lootra in the camp/docks, and you should have all parts for your saber.

emitter
fixture
lens
crystal (see geeda/landing pad)

Well, to get a part from Lootra, you need to either kill him or bring his wife back to him. There's also a part in Vogga's stash, so if you take either one you should have enough parts. But on Dxun you should also be able to get one, I believe by completing Mandalore's quest. (with the ruins)

Change the color crystal on a workbench. You can buy some crystals from different dealers, and find some off corpses. (and the crystal cave and scavenger dealer on Dantooine, most notably)

T3 is the best character for the yacht by far. By the time you reach the yacht you should have:

The unlimited shock arm (comes standard)
The regeneration upgrade (loot from the Paragus HK-50)
The unlimited shields (side quest on Nar Shadaa)

Take any capable NPC with T3 and just plant them next to a computer. Then take T3 solo, charge up them shields and shock the crap out of any droid that gets in your way. If T3 gets too low on health, just scream "Run away! Run away!" and retreat until your regeneration upgrade brings you back to adequate health. Another advantage of going solo with T3 is the fact that your NPC won't go running off like an idiot.

A couple tips:
- Always take out the maintenance droid first.
- Try not to get too close to any un-opened doors. Sometimes the droids behind them will sense you. If they do, they'll come out and outnumber you.

I did this with Kreia and Visas. NEVER try this, was a complete disaster. Visas just died at every opportunity because of her low gealth, thi was the first time i used her BTW as i did Nar Shadaa first and got her just after the Red Eclipse. So she kept on dieing and Kreia was just a load of rubbish as all she had was a vibrosword, or a Trandoshan Sword, cant remember which, but whatever it was, she was crud at. Once u get back to your character tho, it is a complete piece of cake. I do agree with the T3 thing, i am doing it now for a Dark side jedi consular (Haven't got to level 15 yet) and it is brilliant. So if u want a big challenge, use Visas and Kreia...I gotta admit, i like challenges, and that was a fun challenge, otherwise use T3 and a Jedi, Handmaiden would be good, unless u didnt get her, use Visas, preferable with Toughness. I realised that I hadnt upgraded her wen i found me and got her with all 3 levels of toughness and her Life points just bout doubled, they were only 66 at the time tho.

Note: Keep level ups if you havent used them because your charatcter gets full health again once u use a level up, so wait til they r down to 20 and use the level up to get back full health without using any health packs or life support packs.
