Gender confusion lurking around every corner....

I have just noticed that increasing numbers of SYM males have adopted girl avatars... So I have to ask, are the young men of SYM undergoing some sort of ritualistic group bonding or do they simply enjoy presenting themselves as pretty girls?

Perhaps they all need help remembering the nature of their... ahem... 'equipment'

Bah, I happen to use the picture in my avatar for personal reasons. It helps me remember someone I loved dearly and recall mistakes that were made. I don't know why other people are using similar things but thats my reason. I don't see any point in putting something up thats "masculine" to make everyone think I'm more "manly". I know who I am, and how I am and thats good enough for me. I could ask the same of other people who use pictures portraying something different from themselves. Why a cartoon, or why a picture of what you wish you looked like, etc?
