guys
lemme ask you a question:
do you agree with me, when i say the game's just not finished?
all the bugs, that low-intelligence story and all of that.
if they had took just 2 months more, the game would be a lot better, and BUG-FREE.
i am sure i posted it the 3rd time by now, but that PATCH or UPDATE or whatever you wanna call it, just dont help.
surely, it can be a good game, and yes its somehow fun too, but if u play and play and play and suddenly the games crashes, is not that funny.
so, give me an answer if u have same opinion.
more development time?

I agree 100%. The game is incomplete. I wouldn't describe the game as "buggy", because aside from the Vertex fix for my Radeon I really didn't encounter many fatal errors. Certainly not enough to piss me off much. But I did encounter little glitches.
1. First time I entered Goto's Yacht, the game misloaded and I was put in the Audience Chamber instead of where I should have. Reloaded the game and this was fixed.
2. I have a savegame from right before I meet with the Jedi Council on Dantooine. Every time I go through this, Vrook's lightsaber never lights. He stands in a fighting posed with his single blade held two-handed and it isn't lit. Everyone else's is.
I don't think that a patch will resolve the issues I have with KOTOR2. I want a "KOTOR 2.5". The game is missing so much content that it deserves a full revision. The AI is so stupid that it needs a complete brain transplant. The AI acts like it was never fully "turned on" by the programmers. Like it should be capable of much more, but you're playing the game in "debug mode".
KOTOR2 makes me feel like a betatester.

"vertex fix"? maybe i should try this too.
dont you have that f****** crashes while loading other sections?
tell me please more 'bout that vertex fix.
nothing else makes me more angry than that.
and AI? wut AI? theres no artificial intelligence in this game, enemies are just attacking. nearly zero defence.
and whats the point when u are on dxun on that jedi or sith grave.
3 normal geezers can take out 1 sith lord and 2 sith boyZ??
thats just not "real".

This is a Radeon-specific fix, but it really works well. Without it, the game is so buggy as to be completely unplayable for me. Even downgrading my Radeon drives to Catalyst 4.3 wasn't as effective as this fix. WITH this fix, I can continue to run the latest Catalyst drivers.
Go to configuration settings file.
Add Line "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" under graphics options

Never noted that to be a problem. Which is to say that if it ever DID happen to me, I don't remember it so it must not have been a serious problem. I know that without the Vertex fix I had scads of problems. With it the gameplay was pretty smooth.

Actually my point was the opposite. No AI. Enemies just stand around and wait for you to walk up and kill them. That whole fight at the Czerka Site was a joke. The Mercs wouldn't come out to fight me. I had to hunt them down to kill them all. One guy was hidden around a corner and I almost missed him until I accidentally walked into him. No AI. Its like the AI was turned off for "debug mode".
