My Opinion: The toughest golems

In my opinion, I believe the clay golems are the toughest of them all. This is because the clay golems can only be harmed by BLUNT WEAPONS and my toughest fighters all carry edged weapons (Valygar, Korgan, and my Carsomyr weilding paladin) so only Anomen can harm him. This often pisses me off because, I often use many PoEHs (Potion of Extra Healing) trying to kill these guys who only give 8000 xp a piece compared to those Iron Golems which I can slay in say, 5 seconds!

Get your thief to set traps - that hurts them. A trap in a doorway with the golem on one side and your party on the other, the golem is too big to get through a door. Watch out for the gases though..... :)

Be sure to make the Crom Fayer as it can kill all golems except Iron & Adamantine in just one hit.Until then, use the Warhammer +1,+4 vs giant humanoids which you can find in Nalia's keep or the Rod of Smiting that you can buy in the Underdark.

I found all golems to be hard, 'cause all of my best fighters used swords. It was strange that my fighter/cleric 7/12 could beat the crap out of those golems with ease (Warhammer +2) but it was so hard for lv 14 Minsc with Lilacor. Wand of cloudkill helped me a lot. Also one thing special about Warhammer +1,+4 vs giant humanoids is that it could be +4 enchanted. I'm no sure about this...

Just one more thing: why doesn't adamandite golem die when I cast sunray  (theorically they should turn into dust in contact with sunlight) I plan to add script on sunray spell that it will slay adamandite golem with no save :D

Yep,that's right though it must be a bug,Flame Tongue is also +4 Enchanted and it shouldn't be,but it SHOULD hit Kangaxx since it's +4vs undead,at least per AD&D.

Great idea!It especially annoyed me that those buggers run along happily in the middle of a sunny day at Suldanessellar
