How to Get Rid of Weapons

Post by Master_Dragon »

I need to find out how to get rid of all these weapons I collected.... I have stuff ranging from orcish to daedric, and I've no way to sell them! no one has money!!! It's pitiful...... And I can't find that mudcrab merchant. Perhaps someone would be willing to tell me how to sell all these weapons?
O, and while I'm at it, where's the dead guy that Gentleman Jim Stacey in Vivec at? can't find him.... unless I already raided his dead lump of a carcass...

well if you sell the creeper 5000 septims of stuff then you can sell your higher priced items for 10000 septims and then get all your old stuff back and do it again.

Creeper is in Caldera, in Ghorak Manor.
If you use the Game Banshee search button and type in "Mud Crab" you'll also find precise directions for his location. :)

Another way, if you want to get rid of them for GOOD, is to summon a creature, kill it, and as its falling, put the item into its inventory (this can also be done in reverse, allowing you a [technically] endless supply of what the creature would normally drop in the wild) :D

I just go to Haallu Manor(the guys already dead) take the stuff of his shelfs and put them in the crates, then put your stuff on display on the shelfs.

But I like getting gold for all the things i got.....
I need a place to sell glass items and daedric items. Is there a man rich enough or with enough 'other goodies' to trade with?
I must get rid of over seventy assorted daedric, ebony, and glass armour/weapons!

Selling expensive items requires either doing some creative bartering or a mod.

You can just find Creeper, keep selling him stuff to his 5,000 limit, wait 24 hours, sell again and so on til you have howver much the item you want to sell on you, then buy all your stuff back which will give him all that cash, then sell your item. Takes too long, so if you really want to get the cash, DL the Creeper mod that gives him more money.

There is no one in the game who is capable of buying most of the better items without the buy, wait, buy, wait, sell strategy. I think it was put in as a game balance restriction since you can buy enchantments etc. if you have enough cash to make yourself godlike.

I play on an xbox, which kinda sux, but i should have the pc version soon.....hopefully....maybe... okay there's a 10% chance, but perhaps there's another way to get rid of the stuff, because I've filled the council club with all my collected weapons that don't cease multiplying. I have a really bad habit of hoarding things....
but anyway, ty for your help guys and girls

Buy the Game of the Year Edition at your local retailor. It's only like $20, so it is pretty cheap. You get to use your character and there is a new world that has a bunch of people with like $10,000 just waiting to buy what you have. Plus, it has the best one-handed swords in the game. (this is a spoiler free thread so I will say no more) If you have GOTY, I don't know what to tell you. :D
