Can a Nosferatu be given the Confessions Missions

Post by mjm36 »

When ever I go into "Confessions" and try to talk to Venus, she blows me off and throws me out of the club. How does one get the two confessions quests as a Nossie or is that impossible?

Yes, you can get it. You have to do Fat Larry's mission first. Once you complete it, he'll recommend you to Venus.

It's the only clan that requires you do them in that order, though Larry will recommend the mission to anyone if they haven't done it yet, after completing his mission.

btw, since we're talking about Nosferatus...

I know it's a dumb question, and I probably already know the answer, but Nosferatus can't walk the streets, can they? wouldn't that be an automatic Masquerade Violation?

You should do so well as to be sucked into the engine of some evil Sith Lord, you know.

You can walk the streets, but you can't get too close to average/no dialogue citizens. If you do, they start screaming and you get a masquerade violation. So the concept is, basically, you can walk the streets/ but stick to the shadows. Troika did a fairly good job with Nosferatu, in my opinion. They given you reasons to use the sewers, shadows, and generally be subtle. At the same token, they didn't make playing the clan completely inconvenient. You can still cross the street without going into the sewers, unless you're just really sloppy.

but doesnt that mean u have to crouch to keep away from people even if it means not using the sewers? Or can u just walk/run provided u stick to theshadows. Because crouching and moving ahead is plain slow.

Nah. In most cases you can just walk/run as normal. Just make sure not to get too close to pedestrians. As long as you're not right next to them, they don't freak out.
