What do you suppose the child of a half-Orc and a Elf would look like? Kind've ugly I'd imagine.... Big, green, skinny like a twig with long incisors, and pointed ears. Muscular build, but very lean. Meanwhile speaks in mono-sylibraic grunts that sound melodious, and like song. An Orc type creatue thats eats mass amounts of fruit, by kills a deer just cause he can. The intelligence of an Orc, but the drive of an Elf.

God, that would be one f---ed up creature, don't you agree?

In a very early article in the dragon magazine was an answer to that :

orc + elf = a blubb of utter evil

I had the impression that the author didn't like that combination

Elves can only interbred with humans or half-elves and half-elves can only interbred with elves or humans(on dragon lance, half-elves can´t interbred at all).A 1/3 orc,1/3 human 1/3 elf is a impossibilty.

Why do you suppose the programmers at Interplay don't allow romances between your main character, if you are a half-orc, and one of the three elven varieties (Jaheira, Aerie, and Viconia)? Was the visual imagery too much for their sick minds?

are humans, elves, and orcs different species or just different races? if for example humans and elves were different species then it might analogous to horse + donkey = mule, mule not being able to reproduce at all because of not having the same number of chromosomes or something, etc. maybe humans and elves are just different races of the same humanoid species, while orcs might be a total separate species. or maybe not.

That would depend on what do you nean by races or spcecies.
This world is about fantasy by the way but to try to answer your question.
Exemple Elves. there are quite a number of elven sub-races gold,noon,green,sea,avariel, lythari and drow. they all come from a original elf race, the high elf.
species: elves come from, acording to their legends, the blood spilled from a battle bettewn Corellon Larethian(the leader of the seldarine, the elven gods) and Gruumsh(a main orc God)mixed with tears from Sehanime Moonbow.The orcs.....I don´t have anyting on them,but loking from the previus information there are not related. And humans, like us in this planet they evolved.There are different species not races.
