new game in multiplayer

why the h*ll don't i have my equipment when i start i new game in multi-player?
i dont have anything..
is there anyway to keep my equipment when i start a newgame in multi-player?
for example.. if i and a friend are going to start a new game, we dont have our eq :/ ..

Lucian figured out a way. At the beginning Pause the game right before the screen cuts to Irenicus.

Then take all your equipment put it on the floor then unpause.

Start a new Multiplayer with 1 guy. Go trough the first speech and meet imoen. Then save. Now reload the game and import all your crew, since you come pass the first cage sequence you will have all equipment , except bag of holding gems or scrolls

but I dont think i have my eq at all in the begining.
or.. does it disappear after the guy comes..

As soon as the screen goes black pause.This only works if the char your starting the game with had equipment.If you are not quick enough Irenicus appears and it is to late.

first pause. then i'll drop my eq on everybody in my "crew"

. then after the speech stuff i'll take my equipment.
right?
