hey i tthink i got a problem with my computer...when ever i try to download something...it allways turns out to be a wordpad document in a whole bunch of sybols..can any 1 tell me whats wrong? :confused:

What are you trying to download? An exe file? a torrent file what exactly? It is just an issue of allocate the correct file to the correct program. Xandax should be able to help you out. PM him.

It sounds like your trying to download some sort of text file and it's corrupted or encoded.

Wouldn't it also help to put this in the Technical forum? Or is it a more philosofical (spammable) thread? ;)

It sounds like you're trying to open the file with the wrong application as CM remarked.
