mandarin not there anymore

I went to the FU syndicate in chinatown. Conversed with manderin. He said enter the room and instead I walked out and did the fish market quest. Upon returning to FU all is empty and he isn't there to respond from the flat screen.

Also the quest is still open. It is not listed as failed. Hmmm.

Did you enter the room he originally told you to go into? There's a room off to the side of the main floor level room he initially communicates with you in. Upon enterting it, an elevator should take you up a floor.

If you've tried that and its still not working, then you're experiencing some sort of bug. You may have to reload from an earlier save point. You'll still have plenty of opportunities to finish the Fish Market quest again at a later point, so no worries there.

This has never happened to me. See if you can get in the elevator on the right side when you enter the room.
