Journal Enhanced question

Post by Alien_Newborn »

Most of us that use mods should have at least heard of Morrowind Enhanced, which supports a cubic butload of cool mods with advanced scripts, and my question is based around one of them, Journal Enhanced.

Journal Enhanced, as most people should already know, allows you to make your own journal entries using a quill pen and an inkwell. The instructions say to make a journal entry, just have both of those items in your inventory and equip one to start writing. My problem is that when I try to equip one of them, the game acts as if the mod weren't installed, as in the pen/inkwell doesn't equip. There isn't any problem with my setup for Morrowind Enhanced, since I am running all of Aerelorn's other mods (Except blocking enhanced, because it doesn't work with Assasin's Armory  )

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you reloaded it?

Have you tried removing the other mods to see if it still does it? I know that it isn't supposed to have any conflicts but just in case.. When fable comes on he'll be able to answer you I'm sure.

That's odd. You launch Morrowind Enhanced, then try to move the pen over your paper doll, and notihng happens? You have an inkwell in your inventory, right?

Yep, I do everything it says, but nothing works, even after installing it a whole bunch of times to make sure I got it right.

Uhh, when you say "Paper doll" you mean the little pic of me in the left of the inventory, right?

Right.

There are other things I could suggest, but rather than go through those, I recommend checking the readme file for the modder's website. I know he's got a forum, and that it's regularly used to answer questions and problems. That's where I would go at this point.

If the readme file doesn't have any web address, let me know. I'm on a mini-vacation, and will be back Monday. I can check my list of MW modder resouces for it, then.
