Forgot To Complete A Quest

What happens if I didn't finish a quest in the 1st chapter? Can I get back to finish it & then go back to chapter 2 to finish my quests?

Sure. The only thing that happens to quests when you enter a new chapter is that the journel entry for it erases.

In general:
Quest are not wiped out just because you moved to another chapter. You can finish the quest later.

There are a few quests which have a time limit (nothing to do with the chapter you are in).
There are some areas where you can never return to, so no chance to solve the quest later after leaving.
A very few quests are related to a chapter, but they are more related to the story. Don't worry about them.

1st chapter? Do you mean before you escaped Irenicus' Tower, cuz you won't be able to get back in there. Which quest in particular?

I didn't get to get the acorns to the person I was supposed to get them to. I just happened to escape by chance & wasn't expecting to. I trid to find my way back, but, I couldn't get back! =P That's why I was asking. Any suggestions?

The acorns go to someone in the Windspear Hills, all the way to the right of the countryside map. You're still okay.

it's ok, the priestess for the acorn quest isn't in that dungeon. she's out in the woods somewhere and you'll have to find her
