Little Black Box?

I've searched the forum like crazy and can't find this addressed...
When the Prince gives you the museum quest, he mentions, in addition to the sarcophagus, that you should be on the lookout for a little black box that he's interested in. I've been through the museum twice now (once as Gangrel, once as Malk) and never saw anything of the sort. Furthermore, the Prince doesn't ask about it when you get back to him, either. Is there a box at all? Has anyone seen it? With the other glitches in the game, I'm left thinking that this was something that just got left undone.

It's not undone. You'll learn more about the box as the game progresses.

SPOILERS (read on, only if you must know now...)

The box is in fact a key to the Sarcophogus. It was missing from the museum already by the time you investigated. It's for this reason you couldn't find it.

I can understand how you'd overlook the connection. It's what the Professor and Beckett refer to late in the game. You'll get it this time through. But, yeah, it was a bit of an oversite the Prince didn't mention it to you upon your return from the Museum. I guess he assumed it was with the Sarcophogus.

Yeah - it would have helped if he'd mentioned it when you get back from the museum, but he's too busy ranting about the sarcophagus. A little, "what about the black box? Did you find that?" from him would've been appreciated.

Thanks again - I'm one of those gamers who likes to complete everything (although I skipped some of the side quests the first time through just to save some mystery for time number 2), and it was really starting to bug me that I couldn't figure this one out.
