Trouble in the "Epic of the Ankaran Sarcophagus" >SPOILERS<

Post by DarkFleur »

I'm in trouble to find myself in there....Ï've done everything til the park that the WalkThrough describes with "....Ascend the stairs and use the door at the top to return to the main sewers, if you need to. Otherwise, backtrack all the way to the entrance and this time take a left at the first intersection. Move down, then up to your right to reach an area with a door marked "Authorized Personnel Only". ...."

I've done both ways, And I could find this "entrance", there are many things that can be considered as entrances in this chalenging quest... It took hours, and nothing!!! If anyone could help, Where do I go now???
It's not Death if you refuse it...
It is if you accept it!

Unless I miss my guess, you are in the Nosferatu Warrens, probably level two or three. The door you are looking for is easy to miss. I usually find myself stumbling upon it by surprise after some 16+ runs through the game more because I'm a mountain boy, and I navigate by landmark. I recommend the stock algorythm for running a simply connected maze. The instructions say "turn right" from the stairs that open up on the main sewers, so from there, 'put your right hand on the wall' so to speak (that is, follow the wall on your right and only turn right). Destroy everything in your path, and investigate anything that looks like a door. You will find it, and it will be, of course, in the very last place you look.

good advice

I solved the (real life) famous Hampton Court maze first time pretty much doing that.

when lost in an RPG, the Right Hand Rule is a good idea - you may have to travel much further than you want, but if you keep a wall always to your left or right, you will descibe the complete circumference eventually. if a maze has multiple levels going towards the centre, you may need to do it more than once choosing a point to go forward towards the centre, but it definitely solves the problem of exploring an area with an external exit.
