I saw in the other thread that Fable's method of stealing was to snatch it and recall to your marked safety. Let me use this as an example for my question : You go to Tel Branora to steal Felen's staff, but he catches you (let's say you're not part of House Telvanni so you won't get expelled from it) so you recall back to any Thieves Guild member who will remove the bounty. Now let's say you have to go back to Felen because he has an item or something you want.
Will the whole tower attack you now, even though your bounty has been removed? If so, will the Telvanni, or just Felen or the people in the tower dislike you? Or will it be like you never stole the staff?
Oh, and before I forget, can anyone tell me where to buy mark and recall?
Thanks in advance.
They won't attack you, but their view of you will be as something less than rotting vegetative matter. However, you will be able to bribe yourself back into their good services--which seems ridiculous, to me.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I always thought bribing was realistic. You steal something, now you have to pay if you want these people to deal with you again. I guess Tamrielans are just pragmatic.
She says: Lou, it's the Beginning of a Great Adventure
Hmm,I never really tried the whole bribing deal, when I stole an Item I have this bad habit, where I kill everyone nearby to see what they have, so the issue never came up. When it comes time to bribe them I found that using a spell that makes them like you you can bribe them for say, 10 gold and your rating with them wills tay as it was(with the boost)
