For two days now I've run between the two cities, looking for this renigade marauder so I can finally promote. GameFAQs said hang out at the first fork in the road to the Elf city after leaving Fargrove. Someone said run back and forth between the gates of Fargrove and the sign post. I can't find this guy anywhere! I don't know how many dozens of times I've run the path between the two cities now.
I'm a lvl10 fighter, who meets or betters all of the requirments for the class, and have just finished the Elder's trials.
Can anyone help?

I cannot tell what you and other men think of this life, but for my single self, I had as lief not be as live to be in awe of such a thing as I myself.
He's a Barrowgrim soldier, those blue idiots with the grim shields you fought at the Fargrove Moongate near the magic shop earlier on. He's together with a small party of identycal soldiers (usually 3 or 4), maybe some mages I don't know, but he has a different name (Something Boarsomewhat, his name, you know it) and *zounds* of hit points.
He's 100% in the small road between the signpost (Fargrove/Arinsdale/Bolen Fields) and Fargrove's walls (West exit, but you should know it). Try running *on* the road to make him spawn, but when I've found him he was quite near to the signpost a little leftwards on the side of the road (keeping signposts on my back). They peppered me with arrows, so you should notice them somewhat. Can't help you more than that tough.
