i've seen the thread beneath me, and wanted to ask a relevant question.
i'm playing with a sorceror, what are the recommended spells for him.
i'm currently at level 9, but i feel that i haven't choosen the right spells, and would like to get your opinion on this.
oh, but the way,
i'm doing the bounty hunter quest i've got from kendrak's inn.
i've started with zor, and i have a choise between killing him and get the ear, or to let him get away. what's the result if i set him free?
thanks.

If you got the expansions, you might not get the 9th level spells. I'm going to post the spells that include expansions as well.
level 1: magic missile, burning hands, negative energy ray, mage armor.
level 2: Combust, see invisibility, Eagle's splendor (if you don't got cha bosting items), Knock, Melf's acid arrow.
Level 3: Fireball, Haste, Scintilating sphere, protection from elements,
Level 4: Ice storm, Improved invisibility, Phantasmal killer, Evard's black tentacles.
Level 5: Mestil's acid sheath , Hold monster, Firebrand, Summon Creature V
Level 6: Tenser's Transformation, Isaac's greater missile storm, Bigby's forceful hand.
Level 7: Shadow shield, Finger of death, Spell mantle, Bigby's grasping hand.
Level 8: Horrid wilting, Greater sanctuary, Sunburst, Premoniton.
Level 9: Greater spell mantle, Wail of the banshee, Black blade of disaster, Meteor swarm.
Most of these spells are those I use for all my Wizards, but I don't see the need to change them that much for a Sorcerer. But to make this as clear as it can be: use spells with damage, death effects and different kind of saves. Back yourself up with resistance spells, summons and henchmen. If you got all that your Sorcerer is going to be a great killing machine and a fun character to roleplay with.

Just wanted to ask from this, if i had a choice between equipping a Many Starred Cloak and a Nymph Cloak+3, which one should i choose... Also, how does Charisma affect a sorceror... I have not really grapsed that yet...

Charisma is the most inportant ability for the Sorcerer, since it gives them spells and improve the spell DC.
If you don't got 19 charisma, you won't get 9th level spells.

Cha/int/wis increasement through spells and items gives both bonus spells and increased DC.
