Great Druid - So what?

When you gain the status of Great Druid, its a great honor, but what exactly do you archieve? I've read somewhere that you gain special powers, but i can't figure out what they do. Can anyone tell me this ?

You get more spells on 6 and 7 level of magic.

Interesting... anyone who knows exactly how many more spells you gain? I've never figured it was worth it...

I dont remember, really.
It was like 2 more spells on 7th level and 3 more on 6th. But I can be mistaken.

If I remember well you should also get some immunities/resistances: at 15th you become immune to poison, at 18th, 21st and 24th lev. you gain 10% res. to the 4 elemental dmg.. Don't know if the resistance gains stops at 24th lev. or continue every 3 lev.

According to the manual, every druid in ToB gains that. And as you only can reach lvl14 in SoA, I doubt that the great druid thingie has something to do with that.
