Favored enemy

Hi there!

Just a simple question: which creature would be a good favored enemy for a ranger? I'm planning to give my rogue a single ranger level, so... Thanks!

That really depends on how far into the game you are. It seems that every chapter has a new batch of enemies.

I've found the best Favored Enemy to be the troll, mainly since you'll encounter them in Chapter 1, 2, and 3. Other than that, most enemy types given in that chapter only appear in about 1 chapter (2 if you count the prologue, which would give Goblins more than one Chapter to go by).

Well, I was only planning to give him just 1 level in Ranger, and I'm now almost at the end of chapter 1, so... I might go for the trolls, as you suggested... Thanks!
