Light siders regenerate FP much faster
Is it common knowledge that light side characters regenerate FP significantly faster than DS characters? From what I could see, a fully lightside exile regenerates FP about 4 times faster than a fully darkside exile even though the DS had 50 more force points. Feats, powers, equipment were the same. Is there any way for DS'sers to balance this?

I hadn't noticed, but then I've only made one light sider. My dark siders seem to regenerate their FP pretty quickly, though; I've yet to run out later in the game, and if I'm not casting Force Storm, there's not an enemy nearby.

Well it really depends what class your in, like a gaurdian I you would think regenerates more slower, and a consular would regenerate slower to. But seeing ot from the jedi;s point of view, who don't use their emotion at all, you would also think that they would have a stronger connection and tie to the force, If you have no love or any thought that clouds you mind then you would become more stronger in the Force.

Oh its a shame you live so far away man. We could have so much fun! Well... maybe. We might end up in jail after we get out of the hospital.[/QUOTE]

I don't think I've yet to be a Jedi Guardian. I'm usually Consular, although my last game I was a Sentinel. The speed with which I regenerated my FP was still pretty fast to me. Most noticeable was *spoiler* when I was in the tomb on Korriban in my last game, utilizing that unlimited experience bug; I would activate like 30 hssiss at a time, unleash a powerful jolt of Force Storm every five seconds, and Death Field every time I thought I needed it (which turns out I didn't at all); my FP was easily clocked at that point, seeing how much I needed to use the Force to kill those things.

Well in the tomb, if your dark side, then youre force regenerates faster there. I think that lords do get force regenerate.

The tomb is a special case. LS players don't regenerate FP, unless you have items equipped which enhance regeneration which still work. DS players regenerate as normal - plus item based enhancements.
So in there, yes you are right. Elsewhere it should be a level playing field - the "force regenerate" feat not withstanding. And any class can choose that at the appropriate level...

"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.

*spoiler warning*
Thanks for all your responses. But the main problem is, in a normal area (i.e. not secret tomb), given a character, if he were 100% LS, he regens FP about 4 times faster than if he were 100% DS. Same character, same class, same FP, same wisdom, charisma, equipment, etc.
You can test this out easily by cheating. Taking your character, doing, addlightside 10000 and clocking regen. Then do adddarkside 10000 and clock regen. Char is controlled; only variable is LS/DS pts.
If LS chars do indeed regen faster than DS chars, then LS chars would simply be better consulars. True, they pay more to cast DS spells but their regen makes up for it. Also, I think, (this was true in KOTOR I) that most of the +wisdom gear is LS only so that makes LS consulars even stronger compared to DS consulars. The only imbalancing factor would be force crush vs force enlightenment.
