Construction Set questions

I need help with some things on the construction set.
You see, I've built a new island with many new people and goodies on it, but I don't know how to write scripts for additional quests and gameplay. I also don't know how to create new dialogues for many of the characters on my game. And if I tampered with the original dialogue, the person becomes a scowling mute. I must add more conversationy things! How do I get past these things?

Ummmm.... If you tell me how to alter the stats of a weapon added by a mod, I can give you a link to a good modding handbook thingy. Even if you don't know how, just say and I'll give you a hand anyway, but I really need to know how to do that.

hmmm... never delt with mods before because I keep losing the site for the mods. That and the line is always busy. but For altering mods? perhaps if you try loading it, and finding out what's with it, then going to the object of choice, opening it, then altering that to the desired stats(thats what I do with most of the premade weapons.)*btw i don't have any downloaded mods, just my own* Other than that, try tampering with the mod. I found the TES when tampering with a weapon... it never loaded anymore, but still. That's my uneducated guess.

Well, last time I tryed that, I looked up the item, but i couldn't find it....

Well anyways, for your problem you should go to THELYS.org and look up the Morrowind Scripting Guide for Dummies (no offense), which covers just about everything you need to know about modding (except how to modify a frickin' item *rips out some hair*), and it even has a troubleshooting section about 10 pages long.

hmm... confusing deal...
perhaps you should open the plugin, then search for the object in ingred. weapons and etc. I don't know if mods may be edited or not.
