Time Slow and Shadow Ruin Pillars

Post by blueray »

Some said Time Slow works, some said no. I've found the tricks: When you are in the room with Lord Kingston and the Shadow Wraiths (sound like a 70's rock band, huh?), activate Time Slow, enter the room with the pillars, when you enter from the Lord Kingston room, the pillars will always be reset to all up, so if you missed the timing, just leave the room and enter again. Now wait for all the pillar to sink down in the water while position yourself for the first jump. As soon as the 4th pillar submerged under water, jump onto the first 1 (it is just about to rise), once you are on the pillar, immediately run to the corner edge and jump to the second pillar as it is about to emerge. repet for 3rd and 4th and congrats, you've got through the most idoitically designed contraption in the whole game.

An even easier way to do it....

Just jump! LOL

If you go in the water you only recieve little damage...stand on top of the pillar and wait for it to come back up..then jump again :)

Too easy!

once you drop in the water, the gate will close, regardless of the 20 seconds timer (or even if it didn't close, you won't make it back in what's left of the 20 seconds) so you will still need to leave and return to the room.

I must CONGRATULAIT YOU, you are the first one that have found the perfect explanation how to finish that heavy problem...EVERYBODY ho is stuck in that part of the game should do the same, is quit easy to pass the pillars in the way you mentionnned...
You save my nerves and my time THANKS again!

Just glad I could help combat this poorly designed part of the game... besides this contraption, I pretty enjoyed this game very much. ;)

Thanks very much, Blueray, I was just about to have a heart attack, I swear. Don't know what they were thinking.

I take it these are the pillars with the glyph symbols on them?

nope, but the room is beyond one of the room connected to the room you discribed. It's the room with a pool of water and the pillars are constantly rising and lowering.
