Jeb Spoiler

Post by Shados_Draconio »

ok. This one is weird.

First- this seems to be part of the "Artist" quest for the temple of Helm.

You go to the Bridge District to get back the Illithium Jeb stole from the dwarf. While you fight him, you can find out he's on the run from baldur's Gate. He's apparently a child murderer and has four "wraith" kids.

After you kill him and get back the metal for thr artist, you can bring his head to the inspector in the government building for a reward.

My question is this. Is there ANOTHER quest you find Jeb in that you can kill go after him? Does someone else tell you about him being a "wanted man"?

Just curious.

In Baldur's Gate one I do believe there is a quest in which the Flaming Fist pay you to catch him. However there are no quests in BG2 apart from that one that relate to Jeb.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

I think the dude's name is Neb.

You can first meet him in BG1: he helps you escape your jail cell in the Flaming Fist Compound (in the SW district of BG), if you get arrested in Chapter 7.

In BG2, gettin' medieval on that punk was WAY cool!
Why is it that whenever I finally get around to playing a new game for the first time,
I feel like playing Baldur's Gate for the second time...

I remember the first time I was turning in his head. I showed it to the wrong person in the goverment building, (the woman to the left, looking important).

What a laugh!

Yes, he was imprisoned in the Flaming Fist Compound in BG1 and helps you escape through a tunnel he dug if you get arrested after returning from Candlekeep. ;)
But that's all I remember of him. I don't remember ever being petitioned to hunt him down at all... It is possible though, I may have just bypassed that conversation or didn't talk to the right person.
Mitch:You know, um, something strange happened to me this morning... Chris Knight: Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?Mitch: No... Chris Knight:Why am I the only one who has that dream?

Oh true, it's Neb.

Yeah, I couldn't remember that conversation either, but if you have Jaheria in your party, she says it's the child murderer, and he deserves to die. I can't remember hearing that in the first one either. But then again, it's been awhile...

Cool. I don't think I ever got that dialogue before.
