The strongest weapon

so far, what's the best weapon you've found?

My Knight/War Witch has a Sapphire sword that will freeze enemies, it's not pretty strong, but it's effect is the best, I'd say.

For my Deathlord, I'd vote the Emerald Great Sword, as it can be dual wield and so far, I'd only found another sword, Sword of Death has higher damage than this one, but it's a two handed sword, so I lost the benefit of dual-wielding if I use it. So I voted Emeral Great Sword + Kriss of Darkness (?) for dual wielding (actually, a Venom Emerald Dagger is not bad too, but the venom effect is useless at later stage of the game, and Winter Dagger is useless, since my Deathlord has no Magic Weapon skill - only if I could get Cabalist along with Marauder...)

Single Weapon: Sword of death 11/27
Dual Weapons: Blood Reaver Axe (7/15) and Kama of Flame (7/11) ((14/26 total)

Personally tho i use a frost weapon in my main hand most of the time... just stupid not to..

I alternate between Griffon Shield (pro magic 100) and dragon shield (pro fire 100)

Best Weapon:

Blade of Death: 11-27 damage

My favorite Combo:
No-Dachi of Winter 5-23 damage (+2 Strike bonus plus freezes opponents) and Kriss Blade of Darkness 5-11 damage for a staggering 10-34 damage although with strength on top of that most enemies dies after 2-4 hits.

There are some weapons in the database that I have not seen yet. I am wondering if some of them might be boss monster drops or chest drops. I have zero skill in heavy weapons and have quite a collection of them, but have only seen really crummy heavy pole weapons so far. I would love to get my hands on a scythe of winter, or an angelic destroyer. Anyone know where/what those two come from?

I picked up the Angelic Destroyer (along with Sword of Death and Darkwing helm) when i chose Demon Steel in Tomb of Souls after i spoke with the demon (go back to the watcher)

My Deathlord/Budoka got an Angelic Destroyer from Tomb of Souls (I chose Demon Steel), it is not Magical, but can be invoked (I didn't try what's its effect if invoked). I did not use it since I can't equipe a heavy pole.

in that case, I might have to reload the game and check it out....I'm pretty sure mine is not Magical...May be it's random?

I got the Angelic Destroyer from a Chest/Sarcophagus in the Tomb of Souls and got the Blade of Death in the same Tomb when I chose Demon Steel.

I've checked, Angelic Destroyer is indeed Magical (lv 9)

Back to topic, for me I'd have to say my strongest weapon is my shiney new angelic destroyer, getting me hits in the 50's with combo moves hitting in the 74ish area or some such.

My fav combo is Sword of Death and Blades of Baal... ok.. its not 2 weapons, but I can't dual wield.. heheh. For me, this combo has dealt 90 damage with one hit.

Also, the Angelic Destroyer can be invoked whether you equip it or not. Basically it summons 4-6 undead.. at least it does with me.. not sure if your magic levels affect this or not.

For large group attacks, I'd say the best weapon is the Scepter of Evil.. the "arc" of magic it spews makes short work of those spiders and wolves.

When I had that Scepter of Evil, each little ball it shot off did at most 3 damage, but a friend of mine used it and did like 20 damage each. I think it's power depends on your Nether Magic. I bet the power of weapons like that scepter and the Rod of Divinity depend on your magic skill.
