Bard spells problem

I have a female fighter 4 bard 3 with charisma 19.
On the icon bar I have the spells I know: Sleep, Chromatic Orb and Charm person [listed on the Icon bar in that order]. I have 2 spell casts between rests according to my Spell list yet on the icon bar the icons have the number 5, 3 , 5 before I cast, dropping to 3, 1, 3 after I cast twice. Whats that all about? I can't cast again yet it says I should although the icons go gray. Can someone explain this?

Well I sure can't. I've played plenty of Bards and never had the problem you mention. Then again, I've never used the quickspell slots. At level 3 with 19 Cha you should only be able to cast twice.

Could be a bug with the quickspell slots (showing you that you have more casts than you actually have), have you tried casting through the Cast Spell icon, then selecting the spell you want?

Hmmm. The problem appears to have resolved itself after I rested. Must have just been a glitch or something. Oh well.
