Well that must suck ...
I have it at 9 so far, I am level 18, and I kill things with XP values up to 10,000 points pretty commonly with one hit. I would say out of a group of 5 or 6 mobs that I have to fight, I will kill at least one of them with a single hit... It is not always the first hit on them that does it, but it is pretty obvious that they suddenly drop from half health to dead in one normal hit.
The occasional kills on the first hit are pretty sweet to get too!
