I noticed that when you first meet Hanharr and at a couple of other points in the game, he refers to you as "jeedai", instead of "jedi".
anyone familiar with the new jedi order should recognize as the yuuzhan vong form of the word jedi.
I wonder: is this a coincidence? or is it an easter egg like thing for all those who have read the new jedi order?
What do you think?

I remember thinking the same thing about Hanharr always calling the Exile "Jeedai." I just put it off to Greatmaster B said, that it wasn't meant to be any kind of link between Hanharr and the Yuuzahn Vong. I hope not, anyway. If they turn around and make KotOR III about fighting the Yuuzahn Vong in some sort of prelude 4000 years before the actual invasion, something will have to be blown up.

i know there's no connection between hanharr and the vong and i didnt mean to imply i thought there was. I was just stating that i thought this was a small easter egg for people that have read the books.

Thanks for the link. From what I read about them, it sounds to me like they hit the wall on stories to write in that familiar galaxy far, far, away.
To me it parallels the storyline of the Battletech Universe where you have the 5 major houses of the Inner Sphere battling for supremacy. Then the Clans, decendants of the Star League Defense Force, invade looking to restore order.

yeah, i noticed that similarity too.
One thing about the yuuzhan vong books though is that they are okay with some being better than others. But there is at least one good book in the entire series, its called Traitor. I highly reccommend it for reading.

I agree on the books. I hated Vector Prime, and I couldn't stand Rebel Dawn and Rebel Dream (just the Jedi part and the stuff on Coruscant, the space battle with Wedge and Tsavong Lah's father was cool). But Traitor was my favorite, too; Vergere became my basis for how I look at Jedi, which is probably why Kreia's always liked me in all my games.
I think OE was just trying to be "smart" with Hanharr, instead of his word for Jedi coming out normal, it translated into Jeedai. And by "smart" I don't mean intellectually smart.

You forget Star by Star. After Traitor definatly best part of the series. I really hated whole Destiny's Way (#14) and Force Heretic trilogy (#15-17; second book is completly pointless), the rest of series is OK with me.
It's rather expected that some books are better than others, after all you do have 10 or 11 different authors writing them.
