Please Help, can't get on boat

Ok, I have 2 missions from santamonica that have to wait until I get to Hollywood to finish, and 2 missions in downtown that 1 of them has to wait untill Hollywood to finish. But the mission where you have to go to the beach in Santa Monica and get on the boat waiting for you, the boat is there, but I can't get on it! I'm pretty sure I did everything I was supposed to and Nines won't talk to me anymore, so I reeeeeaaally need help!!

I believe the order of things are: (1) talk to Nines, (2) go back and talk to the LaCroix, & (3) take the little motor boat to the Dane. You can probally skip step 2, but I've always told the prince what help wanted to hear like he asked.

yes, it is that quest. The thing is, I went and talked to Nines before the prince, then the prince told me about the boat and to go talk to nines at the bar again, but when i went to talk to him again, he said he "has no time right now, somethin bout alot of people makin him busy, and to come back another time" and when i go back to the prince he doesnt say anything else, i just only can ask him questions, and i still cant get on the boat, so im wondering if maybe i talked to nines and the prince in the wrong order? or nines first way to early before the prince??

Should it really matter, what order? I never talked to nines, just the prince.

Cant get on boat?, you mean the boats there but u cant jump on it?

Try jumping then crouching

To get on the boat you have to jump - can be hard to hit it right. Is that the problem?

You probably have to jump at the boat a couple of times to get on it, I usually do, and then head for the outboard - it's the trigger. Just walking up to it won't work.
