Need Help Finding the Boat

I have talked to LaCroix and Nines. When I went back to LaCroix he told that there is a boat waiting for me in Santa Monica Beach. When I go there it is not there. Anybody have any suggestions for me?

It's a dark-colored boat; wade out into the water a bit. Is Mercurio there as well?

Wade out past E. and you bump into a black Zodiac. It takes you to the Dane and back.

if nothing else, i'm guessing you could use your cursor/pointer thing and try to detect how far away from something you are, as it changes size when on objects of different distances from you.
