IWD II shuts down on appearance selection

I just finished installing IWD II and when I go to make a character, it'll let me go through until I get to the appearance part(changing skin color, hair color, etc.), then the program just exits itself. No idea why this could be happening, can someone help me out or explain what's goin on? I'd like to play lol

Have you tried reinstalling?

If so, then try putting a patch on and make sure that you have clean cds.

ARGH! Ok, now, I can get through making the characters, and get into gameplay, but when I go to my character's inventory it shuts down...wth?? Will the patch work for that too?

Definitely, it solved me that problem.

It appears that GB's link to the patch doesn't work atm, I'll try to track this down and solve the problem somehow asap. If anybody finds a working link to the patch pls post it in the Useful Links sticky, thanks

Yup...mIne did the same thing. Are you running an nVIDIA board? If so, someone else in this forum had the same problem, and they found a prior driver version and posted the link here in this forum. I'm trying to find it again myself, because it solved my problem nicely.
I do believe it was 51. ....something thats all i can remember.
