Shapeshifting problem

Shapeshifting (HofU)
Can anyone tell me how to return to normal form after shapeshifting (using Sensei's amulet), other than resting?

Is there no option to "Cancel Shapeshift" like there is for "Cancel Polymorph"? When you right click on yourself whilst shifted, it should be the option at the bottom? I'd like to know, I'm about to go into this bit.

AFAIK shapeshift and polymorph is about the same, except for the creatures you can shift into. So it should be a "Cancel Shapeshift" at the bottom.

Yes, that is exactly how it is done. The trick is you have to click on yourself, NOT the ring. It took me a while to figure this out because I was looking in the special abilities menu and other such places, but the icon you want is on the first radial menu that pops up.

It took me too a while to figure this out. I didn't know how to turn back to normal after polymorfing into a dragon, so I had to rest everytime I wanted being normal again. But picture it when I got stuck in a doorway! I had to load back my game because I was polymorfed!

Excellent, that's a relief. Yep, I too have gotten stuck, I fought Aribeth as a Dragon at one point and got stuck in a corner. I wasn't allowed to rest, and I got really worried as my hitpoints were virtually non-existant, so if anyone had come in at that point...."Oh look, a whopping great big red Dragon. What happens when I poke it with my sword? Oh, it dies!".
