Hey on malachor V its says in the walkthrough that you have to fix the ebon hawk when you crash land, but on my game you dont have to. I am playing a dark side character on the PC version.

No, you don't have to fix the Ebon Hawk; it is not so badly damaged that it can't fly, it's just stuck. The cutscene that shows the Hawk being shaken loose by a tremor, is all that is needed to get it flying again.
The closing cutscenes showing the Hawk damage-free is just laziness when the Bink movie was made. No one took the time to create a damaged Hawk model.
