My girlfriend corrupted my savegames!

Post by BadBreath »

Ok, here I was blundering through the naga temple with my girlfriend watching over my shoulder. No big deal you think, happens quite a bit. Then one of those minor bugs pops up, nothing bad, just a tad annoying, my elven sword of flame kept on flaming....

I swapped weapons, flames still there. So my gf says stick it in the fountain, put the fire out. Well, I should have known better but heck, female intuition seems to be spot on most of the time. So I walk up to the fountain, hit the left mouse button and.......*crash* desktop!

Now my two alternating savegames inside the temple are corrupt so I have to play it again. No big deal, I just though it was funny and wanted to share it here.

So learn from this (no no no, don't send the gf to her mom everytime you game!) and use more than 2 alternating save games!!!

Hahaha, bad luck_woman :D . But it could be worse, if she has deleted "by accident" the whole game with all the saves.

Thats what made it so funny. I think its a good thing that people that are not familiar with gaming that much expect things like that to work.

We on the other hand don't even think like that anymore, we just assume it won't work.

i can see what she was thinking...but like u said gamers dont use logical reasoning...cuz 99.9% of the time the ideas never work...however on this game if ur frozen u can get fire balled and be unfrozen...guess theres ur 1%
