Multiplayer (LAN), cannot leave Emmindors Tower

My Brother and I have been stuck in Emmindors Tower For a few hours now. we have spoken with him and his lacky more times than i can count and still he keeps "Wishing to speak with me". We have tried different combonations but nothing works. My Bro even tried opening it as a single player game, but still could not leave. This is with ver. 1.3 I might add.

Any help would be nice

This has happend to me in a Lan i think the prob we narrowed it down to was, the connection was lost , probly right befor the host saved , i had a game goin , and it was saved right after we noticed we couldnt' see each other on auto map , no matter how either of us reloaded that game , most things were non functional like doors, movement keys ,attacking, etc.. what we have done from now on is keep 2 saves goin , alternating , because the game dont tell ya connection was lost
