Mysteriously appeared somewhere unkown

Hi,

I was travelling near the area where you can get moonstones. Shortly after I killed a moonbeast and picked up my first moonstone, I got engaged in another battle against killer bees. Anyways, in the middle of this battle, the game started loading for a long time and when it finished, I was in a totally different area. I seemed to be on top of a mountain, since I was surrounded by cliffs and couldn't see the bottom. It was a very dark area with tiny "volcanoes". So I started walking around, and suddenly I encountered a Succubus. There were two other types of creatures that resembled the Succubus (sorry, I forgot their names), one of them was red and threw fire at me. While fighting them, I fell off the cliff and landed near what appeared to be a moonbridge. This moonbridge had fluorescent red glyphs on it, and seemed to have a "satan's star" in the middle of it. Near this "moonbridge", there was some sort of temple, also with a star on it. I couldn't open the door. On each side of the door, there is a "fire succubus" respawn circle. I stayed and fought a few of them, but eventually they were too many and overpowered me.

Can anyone tell me where I am and if I'm supposed to even be there? These creatures seem a little tough for me at this point in the game.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hahaha, I guess you have just experienced one of the bugs in the game -- you have been "mistically" teleported in the end area - the hell. Sorry, Phoenix, load the game.

ok, thanks! that's what I was wondering. I had saved the game about 30 seconds earlier, so I can just load from there
