Whats the best kind of light or medium weapon?

Hello. This is my first time posting on these forums. I was wondering what the best light and medium weapons were. Preferably magic weapons. I have 10 in light weapons, 7 in medium weapons, 8 in light pole weapons, and 10 in magic at the moment. I think the most damaging weapon I have now that I can use is a kama of the void. (I also keep a dwarven winter axe on me, and some wands that spray evil/cold "stuff" at enemies). It's going to cost me around 500k to advance light weapons, and 250k each for medium/light pole.

Right now I'm level 20 and in the shadow place where the athena bashers are (where I'm making my xp, theyre really nice for it . I havent gone to the dungeon in the vale yet. I've completed the naga temple though, and the one with the big demon who wants to bargain (took his offer for intellect, then I wacked him for xp. Good times! I now have 112 INT.).

Anyways, was just hoping there was something a bit better then this kama of the void.

EDIT: Oh, I'm playing a female elf, mage>sorcerer>wizard adept & enchantress, so I dont have access to heavy weapons (pole or regular). I'm not too sad about it though, since my arcane is so cheap I brought it to 27 in no time

I'm playing a similar character. I am still using the elven sword of flame. It does not do the most damage but it suits me well. I also have a katana of the sun which deals quite a bit more damage. It just feels less powerfull. Check the walkthrough/equipment for more info.

Heya, I havent come across that katana yet. I did just get a sweet septer from the shadow ruins boss though. It sprays bolts and things . The relic is nice, but I dont want to get too attached to something I have to give up. I managed to get a nether staff in the dungeon too but it kinda stinks. Less damage then the kama, but I guess it does have longer reach. I think this septer that the shadow boss dropped is my new toy for a while.
