Problem with the sith academy interrogation

Post by Darth_Xavier »

Hey, I was doing this miniquest for prestige and wanted to get LS instead of DS point. The gamebanshee walkthrough says a computer skill of 17 including bonuses is enough to induce the catatonic state in the prisoner, yet I am using zaalbard with 18 and it doesnt work and I keep killing the prisoner. Anyone has a clue? (oh by the way, I use the pc version if that changes anything)

I think it is possible to persuade the prisoner and then free him, reporting back that the prisoner is dead.

I believe you can't use anyone but yourself, since the moment you start talking to the prisoner you're controling your main charcter. I don't know how high a computer skill is needed, but I remember succeeding with a skill of 5 and a bonus of 3 or 4. Just try it a few times, it never works on the first go for me.

You should do so well as to be sucked into the engine of some evil Sith Lord, you know.

Well, thanks, I'll try to get my main character's skill to 9. Yet, it should work with a secondary character since you only talk to the prisoner by clicking on the computer, not on the prisoner himself.

ya, if ABSOLUTELY have to do that quest, you could use a cheat to temporarily raise that skill level.
