hey how do i defeat the lich vangoethe in the quest of marlowe thanks!!!
Defeating Vongoethe
Usual protections and other spells-
Chaotic Commands
Death Wards
Protection from Petrification
Resist Fear
Protection from Evil 10" Radius
True Sight
Haste
Focus on the Lich before his allies. Watch out for the Sphere of Chaos spell he always seems to cast (can turn characters into squirrels temporarily
) and illusion spells.
You may want to protect a few people with Protection from Missiles and/or summon support to help distract his allies.
Ruby Ray of Reversal is a must to dispell any of his high-level protections such as Spell Trap. I believe there is an item you can buy that casts the spell as a wand. Pierce Magic should work for many of his other protections.
You could also cast Protection Against Magic on one character (buy the scroll) to provide them full protection, although you should watch out for his allies
