Turning down Gaeylans offer

Post by Yonin »

In my previous games, Bohdy made me come to her but when I arrived she said I was already allied with others, although I didn't go to Renal yet. So my friends said she was talking about Gaeylan.
I started an "Evil game" now and here's my problem. I cannot turn Gaeylan's offer down. Even if I say I'm not interested he takes me to his house. There I refuse and refuse and just keep talking in circles when I say I'll do it myself. When I say the sum he's asking is outrageous, or ask if noone else can help me, he sais I'll manage to raise the funds. Then Chapter Two starts, reading: The deal is made.....
How can I refuse his offer and side with the vampires instead???

Also, fighting against the thieves, can you still get Edwin? If not, can he be achieved through some means of cheating?

slight spoiler

once you have 15,000 gold pieces, Valen, Bodhi's servant will appear and ask you to meet her in the graveyard district at night. You can side with Bodhi then.

As long as you don't pay Gaelan's fee you're fine. And you'll be able to get Edwin anyway.

As soon as you get 15 000 you'll be contacted by both sides. Go see Bodhi!

... have heard that only if you aren't pure thief. Multiclass might be accepted.

Bodhi accepts you only if you're not a thief. She has no problem with multiclass.
She says: Lou, it's the Beginning of a Great Adventure
