The Crafting Guide Sticky is GREAT

Post by Philos »

Thanks Lord Plothos,

The crafting guide is super. Exactly what I was hoping to see. This is an aspect of PnP D&D that was always kind of fuzzy and our group winged it as best we could. This was before 3rd edition much less 3.5, and as I am still slugging through the 3.5 rules I haven't gotten a good feel for how it all works quite yet.

Cool. Glad it's up to snuff.

Check out the skip williams archive I mention. Some debate parts of his interpretation, but his reading is consistent and pretty clear. I tend to follow it.

Just for clarification, I was the one who actually stickied the thread. :p

Yeah, thanks for that, by the way. I was gonna revise it off-line and repost a sticky later, but I just revised the stickied version instead.

Heh, apparently I'm rapidly approaching that point where remedial math is beyond me. :) Had to fix some truly epic addition errors in the guide's first section. The point stands, but man do I feel dumb. I'll go cry now.

Sorry Galuf

No intent to step on toes. Just saw LP's name on it so figured he had done it. :D
Thank You both, (perfect or not, hey don't stress LP) it will be a big help I think for a lot of folks. It sure will for me!!

Heh, Galuf will be the first one to tell you, I'm sure, that he wasn't laying claim to the thread, just it's stickiness. I wrote it with the intention of making it sticky later, but he swooped in on his little dwarven wings and did it for me. :)

Wings? Last I knew I didn't have 'em? *looks at his shoulders* Nope, none. :( :p

I'm quite the opportunist, though. ;)
