werewolf blood

Post by Anita46 »

Thanks to everyone..this forum has been such a help!! Anyway, I found the CIS room but I can't lock pick it...my skills are only 4 and I need 6 to get it...I have only 2 experience points so I can't up it in diciplines...What do I do? Come back later? I already had to kill 2 cops (thus, losing a point in humanity, after gaining it by feeding some chick my blood)...

Your best bet at this juncture is to active blood buff prior to attempting to pick the lock. Blood buff boosts your dexterity to 5, hence increasing your lock picking skill (which is a combination of your security and dexterity abilities). You have blood buff. It's listed with your other disciplines. You need to scroll to it (in the lower right hand corner of the screen), and right click to activate it. Good luck.

The first guard you killed should have dropped a key with which you can enter both CIS and Security offices. Otherwise, blood buff is your friend.

Does it btw have any effect if you don't disable the camera before entering the room ?

I always disabled the camera...

I think the guards get alerted and run up to shoot you, plus the inevitable running from the police if you kill the guard. Well, it did for me when I went blundering in.

Trance, ravens, obfuscate etc. can all help keep the guards occupied whilst you run and hide, so it's not really necesary to kill the poor guy.

(He also makes a tasty snack as well, which will leave him drooling for enough time to get out as well.)
