cant run dungeon lords on laptop

I have a problem, DL should be able to run on my laptop, but it doesnt start.
i updated it to 1.3 and still, nothing. When i try to start it a black part comes up on the screen like it was about to start but nothing happens. anyone else have this problem?

also here is the system:
Windows 2000
Graphics Card i have no idea. (may be intergrated, that probobly the problem.)

It probably is your graphics card. DL requires 64 MB RAM onboard the graphics card. Most laptop graphics cards are no where near this unless you buy an expensive Alien Ware product that is specifically made for gaming.

i have the same problem on my bro's laptop... v1.3
specs
windows xp
64mb vid card
9.0c directx
1.6ghz (centrino)
512 ram
