cheat glitch

ok. i have the PC version of KotOR, and i recently made the .ini file change to allow cheats. i upped all my attributes so that they were really high, and used the cheats to get alot of items, including Darth Revan's Robes. when i put them on, i got all their bonuses, but still had my massive dexterity bonuses to defense. i ended up with a defense of something like 67. has anyone experienced this/ know why its happening?

Are you complaining or just curious? You have a defense of 67, be happy.
Regardless, your defense rating is tied into your dexterity level, since your dexterity is impossibly high, your defense is going to be crazy high as well. Really though, when you cheat (at least if you cheat a lot) you can practically run around naked punching people and still beat the game without much trouble.

im not complaining, im just wondering why it happened, because aren't Jedi robes supposed to restrict ur Dex bonus to +8? I'm also a Dark Master, but using lightsabers with Solari crystals in them. It seems to me that when u cheat, some of the restrictions in the game disappear.

Has nothing to do with cheating...

I am pretty certain (from previous forum posts) that although the robes SAY they restrict Dex boni to +8, there is actually no restriction at all. That is to say, cheating has nothing to do with this glitch -- if you got your Dex bonus to +9 or better naturally, you would see the same effect on armor class.
